APF - an open source for Automatic Programming launched

Automatic Programming Framework (APF), an open source Code Generation tool was launched by SB. Contrasting with existing Model Driven Development tools, APF works by auto integrating lots of Re-useable code submitted by community – to build requested software. With automatic programming, it will sometimes code 50% to 100% of small or Large software projects

Commenting over launch of APF, Tushar Goswami the Software Architect behind APF said '..as APF accumulates sufficient community, it may fuel aspirations of researchers wanting to make 5th generation programming possible. Presently it would write working software for you as you drag-drop code abstracts on its canvas and connect the code abstracts together'.

Contrasting with Language Workbenches - the much talked about frontiers of Automatic Programming, APF has an edge as it supports Code Generation in all programming languages, and claims shorter learning curve than required by Language Workbenches when programmers adopt it
